30 Day Snap #22

Day 22 and I'm back home for the weekend... you know what that means... INTERNET WAHOOOO

You know, for a crazy internet mad person lover like myself, I feel as if I have handled the situation over the past couple of days very well haha!

So today my picture is going to be of my new room in my new house. For anyone who has been reading my posts, you will know that I recently moved into my second year house. The other day I finally got round to the long but fun task of putting back up all my posters and photographs of my friends and family and some of good memories I have had throughout my life - so I thought that I would just share that with you today. 30 Day Snap #21

I know it's the 22nd today, yes I missed a day - have a house with no Internet connection and feeling pretty crappy is difficult and ill be honest - doing my post for day 21 totally slipped my kind and I'm really sorry. I was so up for completing this change without missing a day but I'm just struggling with a few things personally right now and yesterday was just a crappy day for me. Nonetheless I'm still going to eventually upload a picture for the day (I still took a picture for the day just didn't upload) and continue doing this challenge until, hopefully, the end.
  
The picture for the 21st that I took was of a drawing I did on paint. If you're a 90s kid like me, you'll probably remember the times that when you were bored, instead of spending hours on Facebook or twitter, you used to perhaps spend those hours making masterpieces on paint. So due to moving in and still having no Internet, that is exactly what I did. 

Sorry again for missing a day. Hopefully it won't happen again.

30 Day Snap #20

So today was my first full day in my new house, and my first day at my new job! New new new! We still don't have any Internet in the house so I'm going to explain the picture I have taken for today and upload it straight to the blog once I'm home and have connection :)

As we've just moved into the new house, we all had to unpack and do up our rooms to make them all nice and pretty to live in. Most people would do this by placing a few simple candles around and putting up a few picture frames, I however, being a crazy memory/photograph lover, decorate my room by putting up posters and 1001 photographs all over the room.... And that is what my photo is of today! (Basically just hundreds of pictures all over my bedroom floor)

30 Day Snap #19

So I moved into my new house today for second year at uni! All fine and dandy but problem... We have no Internet. I'm currently using my 3G to write this on my phone and because of that I can't upload a picture for today :( we're not going to have Internet for a while so it kills me to say I don't know if I can carry on with the challenge which sucks as I was doing so well! I'm still going to blog everyday and take pictures and explain them to you! That way when I go home and get my beloved Internet connection ill upload all the pictures to the specific day! 

So today I took a picture of my legs. Yes, I know it sounds strange but I had to buy a new bed and to get the bed and myself in the car, I had to sit in a very interesting way - backwards... on loads of wood... in a hot car.... BACKWARDS. (Trying to stress that moving backwards for 20 minutes in a hot car is not a fun experience)  hahaa

30 Day Snap #18

Today has been another one of those weird days for me, from the moment I woke up it has been running around sorting 101 things out and just feeling a little run down and stressed out.

Tomorrow I am moving into my new house for my second year of uni and I'm super exited! My first actual house! As well as being exited for my new start of being a grown up - I'm also pretty stressed about a number of things to - all of which I should probably calm down and 'put up with the rain'

As well as all that stress and feeling down about certain things, I also think I'm getting ill... woopie! It's just not going all to well right now but hey! That's why I have uploaded a picture of this quote - being as well as the quote 'choose happiness', this has been keeping me going aswell today, so I've uploaded this as my snap for today to hopefully keep you going aswell if you're feeling a little run down and in the dumps! 

I apologise that it may not be the most amazing picture, but today's been so hectic! Tomorrow shall be to! Moving into my new house! Just a warning - we have no internet connection, so I'm really concerned I may not get a picture up tomorrow but I will try my best! Maybe I shall become one of the Starbucks hippies, writing blog posts with a chocolate creme and peppermint frappachino to hand..... mmmm that sounds great already!

30 Day Snap #17

As you may well know by now, I kind of love shopping. I don't usually get to go shopping that much, but by looking back on my pictures, it seems as if I am a total shopaholic. Truth is - I had a major clothes and clutter clear out when I moved back from university (and now moving back this Wednesday) and the fact it's 'summer', AND I'm going on holiday at the end of the month so I figuerd I may as well go all out and treat myself to a few goodies. 

I know I've said this a few times but I would really love to do a haul video with you all. The idea of sharing what I have found for other people to see and potentialy love and feel great in is amazing! I want to film a YouTube video in the style of the classic Zoella or Tanya Burr, but I'll be honest - I'm nervous! Please let me know if you do want a haul video or blog! Just so you know what to expect, the shops from items purchased would be River Island, Topshop, Next, New Look and a bag I brought from a marketplace (You can see the bag HERE if you want to check it out)

Anyway, as for the snap today... it's... err... shopping related! I coudn't resisit! As for the story behind these shoes... I fell in love with them after seeing Tanya Burr in them in one of her instagram pictures and went on a giant hunt for them in muliptple Topshops - no luck. Sold out in every colour, every size and in every store - even online - was not looking promising for me! Cut a long story short, I was telling my boyfriends sister about the shoes and she found them for me the next day! Result! So here is a picture of the box and a lovely note attached from Lizzie, who, without her, wouldn't have these bad boys in my collection!

30 Day Snap #16

(Sorry for the giant gap - my laptop is refusing to crop this picture down!) 

Today there are two snaps! Woopieee! Due to it being Fathers Day, I am going to be doing the classic thing of uploading photographs of me and my dad :) The first picture was taken at Disneyland 3 years ago and the second was taken... er... I have no idea when - but my dads looking very young and I'm sporting the baby fat look...so it was a while ago! hahaaa :) Just thought it would be nice to have a little comparison! 

This is going to be a short post because today I didn't do much except chill with my family and spend some much needed quality time with them! It was such a lovely day and was nice to see my dad kind of relax seeing as he's such a workaholic and is always on his feet! I'm so grateful to have him in my life and do not know what I would do without him :) 

I hope you all had a lovely fathers day and got to spend it with your family or just the people who make you happy in general!

30 Day Snap #15

Today was another shopping day! Yey! I finally got to spend some quality time with my mum and dad! First we went to a market and then we went Westfield (my idea of heaven) 

I did get a few bits, but didn't go overboard! I didn't even get the chance to go into MAC because it was so busy! BUT, alas, there was a silver lining - I got this amazing satchel bag. 

In two weeks today I will be going to Cyprus with some family friends, and have been looking for a small handy bag that still looks classy, to carry around with my whilst I'm away. I never take too much out, just the classic phone, bit of make up and hotel room key - and that's it! So this was really perfect for me! Plus it was only £15! Bargain! :) 

I did get a few other bits - and now have actually complied a rather hefty amount of clothing that I would like to share with you :) So if you would like a haul video please let me know :)

30 Day Snap #14

It happened. I caved. I've joined the Glossybox community. 

In all honesty, I've wanted to be a Glossybox member for so long, I think it is such a great way to try great quality products that you may not have picked up or thought have picking up before and being able to test and try out new things. 

Being a student and having expenses for what feels like everything all the time, I don't have the freedom to go out and try full sizes of different brands incase they aren't as good as they seem and what not! However, with the Glossybox I will be able to try out varied products all for £10 a month! 

I'm so so SO exited for my Glossybox to arrive! Something to look forward to! (How sad of me)

Day 13 has been pretty boring... again. It has mainly consisted of watching YouTube videos, watching re-runs of 'The Apprentice', being my brothers slave and driving him to and from school, buying food and playing a bit of playstation. Yes, I know, try not to be too jealous of me!

30 Day Snap #12

Today I had one of those days where I really felt I needed some retail therapy, just to get stuff off my mind and to just do and get what I actually wanted for once. 

Although it doesn't look like a crazy shopping spree, I did actually get a few bits from River Island, Topshop and Next, and spent, well, for a student, was a good amount for about an hours worth of shopping! 

The rest of the day has been spent chilling with my brother, chilling in the bath, painting my nails, and watching Pixar movies!

Just got back from a gathering with some friends. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures from the afternoons festivities but I did instead get my brother showing off a very interesting find in his wardrobe whilst he was cleaning out today! He was very shocked to see them to say the least and has actually kept them 'for the bants'

30 Day Snap #10

Today I was finally reunited with one of my very close friends from university. It's only been 2 weeks since we last saw each other but it has felt like months, so today really has been a lovely day :) 

After multiple times of driving round my old primary school car park (which is also a car park for a pub/restaurant as well) we both finally managed to... *ehem*... interestingly, parallel park our cars and were finally able to sit down, chill out and catch up over pretty much anything and everything! These are the friendships that I love, when you can see someone and instantly have lots to talk about... that's defiantly us! We were talking and talking for hours! 

At university, were called the 'posh' girls of the bunch, even though we really have no idea why because today we put our posh-selves to the test... and we failed. When being in a really fancy pub/restaurant where the menu is very A La Carte and everyone's drinking wine and spirits around us, we decided to go for a classic glass of orange and lemonade and chips. Yes... where we could have ordered a giant lobster with all the fancy bits, we went for chips.. and it was brilliant :) they even had fancy ketchup! ahaaaa :)

30 Day Snap #9

It may be 11.30pm... but I still made it. No, I'm not lazy and left it to the last minute, instead, I've been at Wembley with 80,000 other people at the Capital FM Summertime Ball 2013! But I've come back and still got my post up for today.. I'm just so dedicated! haha ;)

Obviously tonight, my picture for day 9 is going to be one of the summertime ball... but I have so many to show so I.. for now am going to show this one. This is because it shows Wembley as well as all the Capital banners and such (and a lot of people!)

30 Day Snap #8

Happy Saturday! 

Today I spent a little bit of quality time with my mum and went to Homebase, yes I know, a glorious way to spend the amazing weather! I'm such a sucker for places like Homebase, I instantly run straight towards the candles, pillows, picture frames, canvas', bedsheets and cute outdoor items like this amazing penguin! I literally ran straight over when I saw him :) 

Penguins are my favourite animal, ever - I mean, I have a big stuffed toy penguin in my room and I love him to death :) Random fact! Wahoo!

30 Day Snap #7

Today, I've chosen to share a quote that I really wanted to include on my tag because it's been something really important to me today :) 

I'm a great lover for quotes and inspirational images and what not, I will always find myself searching online for new backgrounds that make me happy and for quotes that make me feel stronger. My bedroom wall is full of canvas' full of meaningful quotes and messages which really pick me up when I'm feeling down. This quote above is one that is hung up in my bedroom and I really think this one is one of my most loved so that's why I'm sharing it with you today. 

So... today I was having one of 'those days' - woke up early to the sound of builders knocking away, and just feeling a little bleugh. It sounds really cheesy but when I'm having a day or morning like that, I usually just put on my current favourite song, sit up in bed and look at my canvas wall - the quote above is the one that actually turned my day around! I know it sounds all a little dramatic but when I read this quote, I decided to pick myself out of bed and actually do something! So I did! I ended up seeing one of my closest friends and spending the day with her. I was also lucky enough and amazed to find that Louise from Sprinkle Of Glitter (please check out her amazing blog HERE) replied to one of my comments and said she was going to check out my blog :)  

These are just examples of my day, that made me realise how lucky I am, and that I can't afford spending days sitting in bed being miserable, instead I need to get out and do what I love and want to do :) It also made me realise that if I keep working at something, like my blog for example, I can only grow and get better! 

To anyone who reads this, I hope you're feeling a little inspired or better about yourself! I know that for me, when I read other peoples blog posts like this, I usually feel a lot better about myself and situations in my life - and why not at least try and spread some love, right?

30 Day Snap #6

Apologies for today's really, what may seem crappy picture. I know there may be some people doing this tag who are going crazy with their SLR's and their photoshop skills - but to be honest, I'm doing this challenge for a different number of reasons:

1. To actually complete an online 'challenge' and take pictures everyday and to be able to say I (hopefully) completed something.
2. To be able to blog everyday and have something in common with other people
3. To be able to look back and see what I did on a specific day in June in months or years to come. (So really for a personal reason)

For me, this tag is going to be like stumbling across an old diary or little notes you wrote to yourself years ago. I honestly feel thats one of the greatest feelings, to be able to see what you where doing and how you were feeling. Maybe I'm just weird like that! And now I kinda think, doing this tag with pictures is going to be slightly more interesting - so I can see how much has changed over time - and most likely judge what I looked like or something like I usually do when looking back on old photographs! 

Anyway, on to the snap!

Nothing too crazy I know. But like I said, this is something for me to remember as well as to show to anyone who decides to see this! Even though this picture may be of me covering my face - looking back I'll remember why! ... and now I shall briefly explain!

I got up at 9am this morning and drove to Farnham in Surrey for my first day at my new job! It was a horrible journey which took 2 and a half hours, when it should usually take just over one hour. When getting to my job I worked a 4 hour shift for the very first time. which was pretty overwhelming but fun at the same time. When work was over at 4, I then drove myself and my friend, and co-working for the day, Lauren, home - this being two diferent locations, meaning my journey was even longer... and yes... we hit more traffic - bloody M25. After this long day, I then went out to dinner with my boyfriend and had what I felt was a very well deserved glass of white wine and lemonade.. and now its 11pm and I am SHATTERED. This being why my picture today is me ready for bed in my IKT (WOO CTFxC) t-shirt! 

I don't plan to miss any day of June and I really am trying to stick to this! Today was just one of 'those' busy days!

Day 5, day 5 day 5! It honestly feels like this has been going on for so much longer! Anyway, here's my photo for today!

This picture was taken on my walk today. Seeing as the weather is current amazing in the UK... aaaaaaannnndddd the fact I stupidly locked myself out of the house - I thought it would be a good idea to go for a nice long walk - which was actually really nice and refreshing, something I think I should do more often. 

I can't really say there's much to talk about in this picture, but for me it's something that will remind me of my little relaxing walk, plus just look at the weather and everything being so green! This is something we don't really get to see too often!

Day 4! 

Today image is a snapshot of one of my MANY most loved videos on YouTube. (I seriously have too many favourites) 
Now, I really am a YouTube addict - I honestly spend 235923759375 hours on this site watching videos all the time! Safe to say, I wish I was a YouTube guru! It's an amazing site which opens so many doors and opportunities for people all over the world.

This video is 'Fanfiction Comes To Life' by Marcus Butler which features Tyler Oakley. I'm not going to explain what the video is about incase any of you want to watch it, so instead I'm going to post the link HERE so if any of you want to go and watch it you can! PLEASE DO! 

The reason why I've upload this as my image for day number 4 is because this video has been on repeat all day, it's made me laugh so much and it's just put me in a good mood!

30 Day Snap #3

So today was one of those days in the UK where the sun is out and everyone goes crazy! I on the other hand didn't go too mad and instead spent the day chilling catching up on YouTube videos and did a bit of shopping with my mum.

My picture of today is actually going to be that of the weather. Sounds a bit cheesy and doesn't seem too exiting but honestly, when you're in the UK, you begin to really appreciate all the really nice sunny days you have, therefore I figured why not take a picture so I can look back and remember the hot-ish weather the UK finally received!

Anyway, I'm off out to a BBQ now (typically british) so I shall see you tomorrow with my #4 snap!

30 Day Snap #2

Wheyyy, today I'm on track and actually uploaded on the right day!

My image for today is of something us british kids, (if not only just me then) are all about right now... Pop Tarts!! 

Now, we aren't so fortunate to get many varieties of Pop Tarts in the UK, but to date I can finally be able to say I have tried the 'Smores' pop tarts and today I purchased the 'Cupcake confetti' ones with my boyfriend in a small American sweet shop we have here :) 

I haven't eaten it just yet, it will most likely be my midnight snack! Safe to say I'm very exited!

30 Day Snap #1

Now, I know I suck and didn't upload my first picture on the 1st June, but if you hear my story you will understand...hopefully. (I've also written this blog twice and had to back up my phone in order to try and get the pictures back - so I really am trying hard to stick to this.

Right, now for my little story. Yesturday, I was lucky enough to visit Twickenham Rugby Stadium to watch the Chime for Change concert. This amazing concert was put together, in order to raise awareness for and support women and girls all around the world with education, health and justice! The  event itself was founded by Beyoncé, actress Salma Hayek and Gucci's creative direction Frida Giannini.

For me personally, this was more than just a regular concert. There was something really different yet amazing in the atmosphere, this was the energy of thousands of people coming together to help and make a difference, and it really was incredible to be there and take in the emotion for that special day and to proudly say I was there and want to be involved in this revolution.

The concert itself was broadcasted in over 150 countries, so it was a really big deal! Many big names hosted throughout the day such as Madonna and Ryan Reynolds, as well as amazing performances from artists such as J-Lo, Jessie J, John Legend, Beyoncé and many more!

So, what you're all really here for... my photograph! I know it wasn't uploaded on the 1st but I didn't even get home until the early hours of this morning, so I hope you can forgive me! However, I did take the picture on the 1st of June so that will be my excuse! Hahaa :)
